Trump commented on Russia’s “interference” in US elections

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — US President Donald Trump said he did not receive information about alleged Russian interference in the 2020 presidential election. In addition, the American leader did not hear that Moscow supports Bernie Sanders.

Trump made a corresponding statement during a working visit to New Delhi, commenting on a report by intelligence spokeswoman Shelby Pearson.

The US president said intelligence never told him anything like that. According to Trump, the leader of the special intelligence committee of the House of Representatives of the Congress, Democrat Adam Schiff, is behind the leaks.

The American leader, on the question of whether Russia helps him in the issue of re-election, said that he did not receive any help from any country. In addition, he does not need it.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that US officials informed Bernie Sanders of Russia’s attempts to help him in the election race. Trump, in turn, called for “being careful with Moscow.”
