Trump heads to India for a quick visit and huge crowds await him

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — US President Donald Trump headed to India on Sunday for a quick visit during which he is expected to witness huge crowds dwindling by his fans in the United States.

The journey takes 17 hours and the presidential plane, which is carrying Trump and his wife Melania, is scheduled to stop in Germany to refuel at Ramstein Military Base before resuming flights to Ahmedabad, the hometown of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to gather in Ahmedabad to salute Trump on a road his motorcade will pass to open a cricket stadium with a capacity for more than 100,000 spectators.

Pro-Trump crowds continue to emerge on election occasions more than 20,000 presidential candidates. So the US president grudgingly admires Modi’s ability to gather more supportive crowds than him.
