UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – US President Donald Trump has once again urged the Middle East’s richest countries to support US efforts in the region, claiming that his country has won a “push,” while those countries are ignoring what they are paying for.
“Imagine that we spent $ 7 billion in the Middle East for nothing,” Trump told his supporters in Michigan, “and we’ve got a cheerleader and there’s no army like our army. Some of the world’s richest countries tell us sorry we’re tired and do not want to pay.”
“We will make them spend and spend,” he said, pointing out that they are fluctuating in money so they spend their time spending money.
Trump said in a press conference with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron during the last visit to Washington last week that some countries in the Middle East “will not last a week without US protection.” And called on them to support US efforts in Syria with money and individuals.
