Turkey asked NATO for additional assistance in Syria

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — Turkey requested “NATO additional assistance in Syria – to protect the border with Syria, as well as in connection with migration challenges.”

This was announced on Monday by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan following a meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
