Turkey did not participate in patrolling in Syria

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The Turkish side did not arrive to participate in a joint patrol with Russia in Syria , the Russian military police acted alone, Major General Yuri Bourenkov, head of the Russian center for reconciliation of warring parties in the SAR, said at a briefing.

“Due to the non-arrival of the Turkish side to participate in joint patrols, Russian military police unilaterally patrolled the route: Kobani – checkpoint Garib – Kharab-Nas – Ivtiran-Takhtani – Badfik – Itviran-Faukani – checkpoint Garib – Kobani in the province of Aleppo,” he said.

The Russian Center for Reconciliation calls on the commanders of illegal armed groups to abandon armed provocations and embark on a peaceful settlement of the situation in areas under their control.
