Turkey says Soleimani’s killing will fuel instability

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The US air strike in Baghdad that killed Iran’s Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani will increase insecurity and instability in the region, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

In a written statement, the department said it was deeply concerned by the increased tension between the United States and Iran and that turning Iraq into a battleground would harm peace and stability in the region.
