Turkey will demand from US extradition of SDF commander

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Turkish Justice Ministry will prepare a request in the United States to extradite the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Mazlum Abdi, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said.

“The terrorist, who is called Mazlum, is on our wanted list, and the United States must give it to us. I instructed the Minister of Justice to prepare a request for the extradition of Mazlum from the USA,” Erdogan said on the air of TRT television channel.

He added that he expressed his indignation to US President Donald Trump over the fact that he corresponded with Abdi and sent a letter to the Kurdish commander Erdogan, adding him to the scandalous message to the Turkish leader urging “not to play the fool.”

The President of Turkey confirmed his intention to visit the United States on November 13 at the invitation of Trump.
