Turkish military shot down two Syrian aircraft

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — In the de-escalation zone of Idlib, Turkish forces shot down two Su-24 bombers of Syrian government forces. Pilots ejected and safely reached the ground.

In addition, two air defense systems (air defense) were destroyed, one of which shot down a Turkish drone.

Earlier it was reported that near the city of Saraqib (Idlib province), Syrian security forces shot down a Turkish drone.

Against the backdrop of the crisis, the SAR authorities closed the space over Idlib and warned that all objects in the air (aircraft, drones, etc.) would be perceived as hostile and interfered by air defense forces.

Ankara did not specify who attacked the Syrian army.
