Twitter decided to ban all political advertising

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — Twitter has decided to ban all political advertising on its platform, said social network founder Jack Dorsey.

“We decided to stop all political advertising on Twitter around the world. We believe that the coverage of political statements should be earned, not bought,” he wrote in his account.

The policy will begin to be applied from November 22, so that current advertisers have a notification period before this change takes effect, he added.
