UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — After a double explosion in the city of Aden in southern Yemen, short armed clashes erupted.
According to RT, the United Arab Emirates uses the ports and airports of southern Yemen to transfer arms to the rebels they support.
“A first explosion has been reported in Khormaksar district and a second one in the al-Bassatine area of Dar Saad district,” Yemeni media reported.
“After the second explosion, we heard for a few minutes the sounds of armed clashes,” said the media.
And while negotiations are underway in Jeddah between the Yemeni resigning government and the Southern Transitional Council, supported by the United Arab Emirates, after the withdrawal of forces from this Aden council.
Riyadh and Abu Dhabi welcomed the agreement of the resigning Yemeni government and the Southern Transition Council on negotiations in Jeddah to resolve the crisis in the south of the country.
