RUSSIA (OBSERVATORY) – Russia’s representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, OPCW, accused the United Kingdom of mounting the chemical attack scenario in Duma.
“The scenario of the use of chemical weapons in Syria has been set up from scratch by private bodies sponsored by the United Kingdom and the US,” said Alexander Shulgin, the representative of Russia at the Organization for the prohibition of chemical weapons.
Shulguine then spoke of the US role in this affair: “The US, the UK, France and other countries accuse the Syrian government of conducting a chemical attack against its people, but we have identified all those who helped to build this scenario.”
According to Russia’s representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, Russia has irrefutable evidence that there was no chemical attack in Duma on 7 April.
Russia insists that the incident was a “false attack prepared by the British security services” in which “they could have received help from their Washington allies” in order to divert the attention of the international community from crimes committed by this coalition in Syria.
