Unknown opened fire at Paris mosque

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — An unknown man opened fire on a mosque in northeast Paris on Sunday evening, one person was injured, according to BFMTV.

Police sources told the channel that at around 8 p.m. an armed man entered the mosque’s courtyard in the 19th district of the capital and shot another man.

After that, he left on a scooter, his whereabouts are unknown. According to reports, at the time of the shooting he was wearing a helmet.

The channel adds that the life of the injured is not in danger.
