US attacked Syria with stale missiles

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) – For the first time in the attack on Syrian military and civilian objects, cruise missiles of the AGM-158 JASSM type, adopted in 2009, were used in combat conditions.

The edition of The Drive turned out to be a photo of such missiles loaded into the strategic bomber B-1B, which participated in the attack.

“This sortie means the first combat use of this weapon,” the journalists believe.

Also, the US armed forces during the operation involved ships with cruise missiles Tomahawk. The United Kingdom used Tornado airplanes, and France, involved in the attacks of the fleet, raised the fighters Rafale and Mirage, as well as tanker aircraft and “flying radar”.
