US bomb their airbase in Hasakah province in NE Syria

SYRIA (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — US forces destroyed their own air base in the province of Al-Hasakah in northeast Syria after the withdrawal of their forces from there, according to the Syrian national agency SANA.

According to him, the United States bombed the Kleib base, which was equipped with a runway for military transport aircraft.

The base was located in Tel Baidar near the city of Tel Tamar, where there are battles between Kurdish formations and pro-Turkish forces.

The US military is also preparing to leave the base near As-Sabee Dam, also located in the Hasakah province.

Since 2014, the United States and its allies have been conducting an operation against the terrorist group IS in Syria and Iraq, and in Syria they are acting without the consent of the country’s official authorities.

At the same time, in December last year, Trump announced the withdrawal of troops from Syria without specifying the deadlines for such a withdrawal.
