Trump has a number of options on Syria as well as a missile strike, Trump said , noting that Trump’s air strike was “one of the options.”
“The United States does not rule out the possibility of strikes against Russian forces in Syria during the planned military response against Syria,” she said. “Trump considers Syria and Russia to be responsible for this (chemical) attack.”
On President Trump’s threats via Twitter and the possibility of a clash between US and Russian forces, Sanders replied that “this means that all options are in place.”
She stressed that the final decision on the strike was not yet taken.
The US president, Donald Trump, has vowed to bomb Syria with modern and smart missiles, calling on Russia to prepare to repel them and stop backing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who he described as “the killer animal of his people.”
