US markets open sharply lower as coronavirus fuels fears on global recession

The American industrial index Dow Jones fell by 691 points (2.66%) in the first minutes after the start of the exchange session on Friday amid fears of market participants about the consequences of the outbreak of coronavirus on the global economy.
