US Navy explains the arrival of the destroyer in the Black Sea

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — The US Navy command explained the entry of the missile destroyer URO “Ross” (USS Ross) into the Black Sea. The purpose of the warship was to maintain a safe environment in the area.

The ship’s operations … will strengthen cooperation with NATO allies and partners and demonstrate a collective determination to ensure security in the Black Sea as part of the Atlantic Resolve operation,” Interfax quoted the message as saying.

It is noted that the ships of the US Navy and NATO regularly visit the water area as part of the operation “Atlantic Resolve”, which launched in 2014.

The Russian fleet is following the American missile destroyer URO Ross, which entered the Black Sea.
