Venezuelan president leaves for Russia

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro will fly to Moscow later on Tuesday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov was quoted as saying by RIA news agency.

Russia is one of Maduro’s biggest supporters in the face of what she calls US unacceptable efforts to undermine his rule. Russia is providing Venezuela’s military and oil industry with loans and other aid.
