Video shows alleged Turkish strike against Syrian-Iraqi convoy

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (OBSERVATORY) — Video shows alleged Turkish strike against Syrian-Iraqi convoy

A video showing the alleged Turkish strike against a convoy of aid to Kurds on the Syrian-Iraqi border has been posted on social media.

Turkish aviation reportedly carried out its operation near the Syrian border town of Semalka.

According to the television channel al-Ikhbariya, the planes reportedly attacked Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) headquarters in Hasseké province. Other media assume that the strike targeted the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which are part of the SDF.
