Vladimir Putin visited Dream Island

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY NEWS) — President of Russia Vladimir Putin visited the Dream Island theme park in Moscow. Its official opening is scheduled for February 29. Mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin arrived with the president in Nagatino.

Dream Island is the first in Russia and at the same time the largest indoor amusement park in Europe. Its construction began in 2017, investment in the project is about one and a half billion dollars.

There are nine zones in the park with almost three dozen attractions. Many have no analogues in our country. For privileged categories of citizens tickets will be sold at a discount, and for orphans once a month the visit will be made free.

Before the official opening, pupils of Moscow orphanages, large families with low income and families in difficult situations, and also the wards of the Konstantin Khabensky Foundation were invited to the park.

During a tour of the president’s complex, children surrounded him, everyone wanted to take a picture with the head of state. He did not refuse anyone a joint photo. The president asked the children if they like riding the rides. The guys answered “Yes” in unison.

“Congratulations on the upcoming spring! Spring is coming. All the best!” – said Putin.
