Winston Churchill destroyer joined the US Navy in the Mediterranean Sea

UNITED STATES (OBSERVATORY) –┬áCommand of the 6th US Navy fleet on Friday reported on the replenishment of a group of ships in the Mediterranean.

“Destroyer with Arley Burke-class guided missiles, Winston Churchill entered the US Navy’s 6th Fleet operations zone on April 10, 2018 to conduct a planned deployment in support of US maritime security interests, enhance regional stability and advance naval presence in the region operations of the 6th US Navy,” the report said.

The zone of responsibility of the 6th Fleet includes the Mediterranean Sea.
