WTO employee gets coronavirus

US, WASHINGTON (NEWS OBSERVATORY) — An employee of the World Trade Organization (WTO) became infected with a coronavirus. This was reported on Tuesday by the press service of the Geneva headquarters of the WTO.

“We can confirm that a WTO employee has become infected with the coronavirus. We are taking all precautions to control the situation,” the organization’s official said.

As the Swiss Federal Public Health Administration reported earlier on Tuesday, there are currently 476 confirmed cases of the disease caused by the new coronavirus in this country. Three people have died.
