SAUDI ARABIA (OBSERVATORY) – The ballistic unit and artillery of the Yemen Army and People’s Committees targeted Saudi positions in the provinces of Najran and Asir.
According to the Yemeni news channel Al-Masirah, Saudi mercenary rallies were also targeted at al-Khazra crossing point and in the al-Baqa desert in Najran province.
The source confirmed that the Yemeni Army and People’s Committees artillery unit shelled the Saudi military base at Qa’mat al-Sheikh in Asir province, as well as the positions of Saudi mercenaries in Yemen. al-Raboah and in two border crossings, including Alab, in the same province.
Several Saudi soldiers were killed and wounded in these attacks. Following the advance of Yemeni forces towards al-Sadis in Najran province, several other Saudi soldiers fled their bases in the region.
Yemeni forces also fired a Badr-type missile on Thursday (April 12th) on the industrial city of Jizan. Explosive noises were heard and black smoke was seen.
These missile attacks come in response to the constant aggression of the Saudi coalition against Yemeni civilians.
Saudi Arabia launched a military aggression in March 2015 and imposed a land, air and sea embargo on Yemen under the pretext of allowing the resignation of resigning President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi. Saudi aggression has so far left thousands dead and tens of thousands wounded, not to mention millions of displaced.
