In a short interview broadcast Sunday by the Lebanese Al-Manar TV, the official television of Hezbollah, Zaynab Soleimani Hassan Nasrallah saluted the Secretary-General of the pro-Iranian Shiite party, stressing, “I know that he will take revenge for my father’s blood.”

On the same day, in a televised speech, Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that the American army “will pay the price” for the killing of the Iranian general Qassem Soleimani and a number of his companions. “The US military killed them, and he was the one who would pay the price,” he said, raising his voice regularly in anger.

Nasrallah added, “The just punishment will target the American military presence in the region, American military bases and military ships, and every officer and soldier in the region.”
